[Phpwiki-talk] PhpWiki Authentification take over from smf (forum software)

i need to get the authentification from an other system. When the user 
is signed in at the forum he should also be signed in at phpwiki.

I do have functions which give me the signed in user and membergroups. 
Where do i have to implement them in phpwiki?

I also will check against the external groups if a user can edit, is 
admin or guest.
