After having the previously mentioned problems installing PHPWiki using apt-get on my Kubuntu box, I've downloaded the phpwiki-1.3.11p1 tarball and unpacked it into /usr/share. I've amended the installation paths in config.ini to reflect the installation. For phpwiki to appear in my /var/www directory, I needed to make a soft link to the /usr/share/phpwiki directory (but had the uneasy feeling that I shouldn't have needed to!). If I now click on the phpwiki link in /var/www, I get 'Loading up virgin wiki' page, with lots of messages, until it gets to: InterWikiMap Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /usr/share/phpwiki-1.3.11p1/lib/PageType.php on line 342 Obviously I've still not got it right - and would be grateful for any advice, please! Also, whilst I've got (and use) Mysql, I'm tempted to use Sqlite. Is Sqlite built into the phpwiki package - I've had a look, but it's not obvious? Jim Ford |
