Hi Joel, > Have you restarted your web server since you installed the new version of > phpwiki? It is on a laptop and it is started day by day :-) > What are the permissions on your db files, the db files are created by the webserver itself and the webserver is file owner and have read/write permissions. > and the directory > they live in? directory is not explecitly set up so /tmp is used and in tmp 't' bit is set so owner has all rights. > Are there any locks on them? What does this mean? I have simply started the wiki by calling the first wiki page, got the configuration dialog, could not save the config.ini from wiki page, so i copied it manually to the ini file. Then I have called the wiki page over the apache2 server again and got the known error messages. > Does your DATABASE_DIRECTORY > in config.ini match the directory holding your database files? Yes, it is setup to /tmp, "the wiki" has written the initial files and so I hope writing initial db files is not driven by an other variable than reading it later :-) Regards, Klaus > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies > >from IBM.
