With https > access everyone can access to source code (even if you are barbarian > proxy). sf.net does not support svn and I doubt that svn is easier than cvs. (for starters) if some patchset orientated RCS, than arch and not svn IMHO. but anybody can open another repo (maybe gforge based) with synced versions of the src tree. but dont underestimate the hardware power of sourceforge.
