Charles, I have to diagree with you somewhat on this. While I agree that aimless complaining is generally not very productive, I think that in the case of phpwiki the emails are serving a useful purpose: to let the developers know that there is a user base and we would really love to see some things happen (like a 1.3.11 release). The most useful result of this whole discussion (for me) has been the discovery of the spam fighting features that are being worked on. I for one have not downloaded and tested the 1.3.11 beta because I freely admit I haven't had the time to do it. However, the new spam protection stuff makes me much more likely to do so. Hopefully others on the list have been encouraged by these emails as well. So having said all that, I do generally agree with you that actions (i.e. submitting bug reports and fixes) speak louder than words. P.
