For php5 and current CVS HEAD a fix is pending.
It worked on 1.3.10 though.

Data restauration:
=> PhpWikiAdministration => Backup & Restore
will dump to mimified plain text files.
without the header you should be able to import it into any wiki,
but we (the InterWikiExchangeFormat group) haven't found a common 
InterWikiExchangeFormat solution yet.
