[Phpwiki-talk] Tips on authentication

I have a desire for a slightly complicated system of authentication, and 
I do not know whether phpwiki will handle it.

A guestbook-type page would be global read and write.  A personal page 
would be locked down for write to the particular user, but globally 
readable.  Some privileged pages may be read/write restricted to all 
authenticated users, or any subset of them.  And so on.

The phpwiki page on authentication seems to provide a single setting for 
everything -- what am I missing?
