Thanks for this feedback. Where would I find that list of recommended 
patches? Looking through the cvs it doesn't look like any of the 
branches have bug fixes patches applied to them, so it seems that most 
of the bug fixes are mixed in with new features (and new bugs) as 
phpWiki is being developed. So I still don't know which version to use 
in an actual production environment.
