* gettext: update_locale() fails on sf.net

but I would risk a release even with this problem, since we have it
for a long time now, and no solution so far. a workaround is to disable 
the gettext extension.

* a possible bug in WikiUserNew concerning not asking passwords
   (LDAP auth: john cole)
