Hi, could you please describe shortly what that is, what it means,
and why we should support that?

Do you want to support JDBC backends or something like that? Is that 
possible and practical from php? Php usually has good db access.
Or do you need a wiki as frontend with a java backend.

Whenever I hear java I am a bit overwhelmed.
But no panic, I usually do common lisp.
