    isonomia - 2006-12-08

    I have downloaded the latest version 1.3.12p3, and installed in on two different machines one with mysql, and one using files and I have been through the settings for the authorisation with a fine toothcomb and re-installed to default settings several times and I just can't login as a user.

    As I understand it (without any documentation), a new user simply put their name in the user box and then enters no password (I've tried every other combination).

    It just keeps coming back with password not accepted.

    1. Can someone tell me what normally works (ie. how to create a new user)

    2. Can someone please tell me if I'm doing something stupid and give me working values of (current defaults shown):

    ALLOW_ANON_USER = true
    ALLOW_ANON_EDIT = true
    ALLOW_BOGO_LOGIN = true
    ALLOW_USER_PASSWORDS = true
    USER_AUTH_ORDER = "BogoLogin : PersonalPage"
    PASSWORD_LENGTH_MINIMUM = 0
    USER_AUTH_POLICY = stacked
    ENABLE_USER_NEW = true

      BogoLogin requires a camel case username. Did you do that?

      A camel case username? What's that?

      I'll google it and see?

      Oh, So I must have been typing isonomia?

      No, Isonomia doesn't work.

      How about BaconAndEggs?

      **** Me ..... was that it? Was that what I wasted 7hours going through the code for?

      Compared to working out how to enter the password I recon working out how to run more than one wiki on the same MySQL is going to be a doddle and take half the time.

      I'm very miffed that it was that simple - I'm extremely pleased, and very thankful to you Reini Urban for giving me that very simple piece of information and I've finally got managed to enter a password.
