A newbie with a blanc screen

I uploaded PHPwiki (twice now) to my site.
But when I start index.php I get a absolute blanc screen.
(I expected the first time for the configurator.php to start up but nothing happens)
Starting configurator.php I'm asked for my admin_user / password which in my config is:
ADMIN_USER = "fritsl"
ADMIN_PASSWD = "kikker51"
ENCRYPTED_PASSWD = false
(tried with and without "")

after typing my login/password I'm rejected The screen reads:
Fatal Error:
configurator.php:114 Error: Permission denied. Require ADMIN_USER.

I did not build any databases yet and changed nothing further in config.ini

Can I find good documentation and/or examplefiles about how to setup PHPWiki somewhere?

  I completely deleted the latest version from my server and installed version
  phpwiki-1.3.13 to see if it worked better. but no-way, same results.
  All the directories are 755 but I get a (HTML)403 when I try to start /lib/install.php.
  Still get nowhere with configurator.php will not accept the password /login from config.ini
  index.php gives a blanc screen.
  
  Can you give me a hint??
