#1 easier date entry
I could not figure out what the intended format was to enter a filter date. I had to actually look at the PHP to figure it out.
It might be best to have either popup menus for year, month, day, or 3 separate boxes for year month day. Expecting the user to "know" to enter 2002/12/05 is not reasonable. :)
