Mike Noyes pointed me out the PEAR Date classes that have a compare
function. However for that you need to instantiate two PEAR Date objects
and than pass those objects into the Date::compare() function. Seems like
overkill to me.
For now I'm converting my dates to unix timestamps and comparing <,==,>
that way. *shrug*
