[Phpwebsite-developers] CVS snapshots

Sorry I haven't been participating much.    Work has been busy.    I wanted 
to help out on the debugging of CVS, but I'm a little confused.    I want 
to put the translated english version up and test it on a live site and 
test it out.  The best way to find out the problems.

However, I wanted to get some clarifications from all of you.    I noticed 
that there were some braches.   Alessandro has one, Matt has one, and so 
now we have three.

phpwebsite, fallout, and roswell.

The daily snapshots have two links.   The one created by Jeremy, and now by 
Alessandro.    I like how Alessandro maintains a date on his snapshot, but 
I wanted to know are they the same or different?    Is Alessandro's a 
snapshot of roswell and jeremy's of phpwebsite?

Which of the two snapshots are we focussing on?    Or are they the same?

And Alessandro....my e-mails are swamping me.   But thank you for the 
personal thank you note from you.  :^)

Well, expect for previously specified things I always work on the main
CVS branch. I use Roswell to develop particular time-limited versions of
phpWebSite, like the 0.8.1.1 version or the test on php 4.1.x. Next
Roswell usage will come after 0.8.2, when I'll craft a version of
phpWebSite which won't require register_globals=On anymore.
Also, I've never offered downloads of Roswell: CVS snapshots on my site
are built on the main CVS branch.
About the links on the mainpage: since users asked for it, I forwarded
this request to Matthew some days ago and he agreed about them :>

phpwebsite is the production CVS. You take your chances with this copy.

Roswell is a testing CVS. It remains separate because Alessandro works on
it for critical code (for example, the 0.8.1.1 patch)

Alessandro has a CVS snapshot of HIS work. Since he knows it works for him
and only he works on it, it should stable.

Fallout is the new core code that I am working on and hope to get others on
as well. It is alpha and definately not production ready.

In short, work on the main CVS code. Check out Alessandro's code to see all
the stuff he is working on or get an up-to-date CVS copy. Check out Fallout
if you want to see where we are headed and want to help.
