OK I have looked at the search friendly url information.
The only difficulty I see is that the module creator MUST know the order
that the variables are arriving in. Not a huge deal but places a little
more ordered emphasis on the developer.
That said, I think it wouldn't be that big a deal to place a translator
script in the core to be aware of index/userpage/123/etc type calls and
have a standard array of variables for the module to fetch.
I'll look into it and experiment.
