I've been developing for fallout for a little while now, and overall it's very nice. I've already emailed Matt recently with some ideas about that. (subtle reminder to Matt) Tonight I spent some time playing with some of the "shipped" modules. Here are some of my findings: 1) I couldn't find a way to make other existing users a deity via user administration page. 2) When trying to deactivate a user, you will get a 404. 3) No "remember me" feature. ;-) 4) Use graphic authentication? What is that? I tried it and saw no difference. 5) "Want to join?" link appears when user signup is set to "not allowed". 6) Could we get an email from the site or a layout box when items need approved for a module? 7) "Edit blog" appears in mini-admin for non-deity, but when saving update, get permissions error. The user did not have "edit blog" permissions, but the blog was created by that user. 8) Local RSS feeds - how do I use them? Maybe something in the administration to enlighten me? External feeds work great however. 9) Web pages - "Force all pages to use this template" doesn't work. 10) Non-deity users with certain permissions can get permissions errors in web pages. The logic that checks whether links should be displayed apparently needs revisiting. 11) Disapprove on web pages approval page with deity user gets permission error. I better stop there for now. I don't want Matt to get mad at me. ;-) Fallout does have several great features I can't wait to put to use on public sites. So Matt, when are you going to convert phpwebsite.appstate.edu? Overall, great job Matt!
