Yes please!
I was struggling with this a few days ago - I was trying to use a javascript
date fill-in popup calendar (Mihai Bazon's JS calendar) which forced me to add
the javascript in the theme - not very elegant because if it stays like this the
calendar will only work with themes I modified.
So yes, that would be very useful.
