Jason, The SF task manager is designed for this purpose. It should allow phpWebSite developers to coordinate development. https://sourceforge.net/pm/?group_id=15539 The SF patch manager can be used for coordinating community submitted code. One of the phpWebSite admins needs to enable it first though. https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=15539&atid=15539 -- Mike Noyes <mh...@us...> http://leaf.sourceforge.net/ |

I can also start up a forum that is only available to the developers. Let me know if you like the idea. I figured that the mailing list would be good but if you want a forum we can do that too. I can also turn the developer mailing list into a member_posting_only so normal people can read but not post. > Jason Campbell, 2001-03-20 09:32 -0500 >>I think it would be a good idea for us to have a Developers only forum >>on SourceForge. Forum would be cool because we could lock it down to just the developers being able to see and access it altogether. I'd rather not announce some new ideas to everyone on the mailing list :) > I can also start up a forum that is only available to the developers. > Let me know if you like the idea. Here's what is needed (IMHO): A read-write for developers, read-only for general community list - to discuss logistics, scheduling, bug fixes, etc. This would allow the entire community to know what is going on without diluting the content. A public list for development issues so that the development team can benefit from the suggestions of the entire community. Development issues of a sensitive nature can be handled via email -- after all there are only about 10 people with CVS access. To all the phpWebSite developers, Thank you for creating phpWebSite! Our SourceForge project is using it, and it's saving us a lot of work. Thanks again, and keep up the good work. BTW, would a FAQ for installing phpWebSite on SF be useful? If so, I'll take a crack at creating one. -- Mike Noyes <mh...@us...> http://leaf.sourceforge.net/ |
