Silly Question: Are <a href > tags automatically applied for data
entered for phpwebsite For instance, my Nakes module has mailto: and
URL data fields. I am not sure if the user is entering the data or
phpwebsite does it automatically.
If it does it automatically, where in the devdocs is that referenced (I
cannot find it)? If it is not referenced, I would highly recommend that
it be included in 094 docs.
If it is there, I am taking donations for glasses and a clue, since I
obviously need them both.

Since BBCode filtering was added, URLs at least are automatically
converted in textareas. There's a bug in the PEAR BBCode filter as well
where it incorrectly converts urls without http:// on them eg.
http://www.domain.com but sticking the site domain in front also.
I'm not sure if mailto: is also done or even just things that appear to
be email addresses but I wouldn't be surprised. I try not to type email
addresses into web pages these days - not without obfuscation anyway.
