Hello all, I've been spending the last few weeks working on my theme-making skills. One thing I noticed during this adventure is that it is currently not possible to get the 0.10.x core to validate as XHTML Strict - only Transitional. I discovered that tweaking templates only solved half the problem. It took some tweaking of module php files before I got my personal site to validate as Strict. I've been making notes along the way of what needs to be changed in the core. Its not a complete list by far (as I don't use all the modules and I only validated the pages the public can see). I wasn't sure if there was interest by the devs and/or the community to get 0.10.x to validate as Strict. Of course, this assumes there would be another 0.10.x release before 1.0. Any thoughts? In addition, are there plans to make Fallout Strict compliant? I think it should be. The core should not prevent people from making their site Strict if they want it to be. Regards, Greg Meiste |
