I'd like this release to go smoothly. Everything looks well to me. My personal main issue would be compatibility. Not on an API level, but mainly on an URL level. I've got various URLs to my site all across the net. Some with "&" in them (regular phpWebSite), some with "~" in them (Super Hack). And a lot with articleXYZ.html. I have to support the URLs in one way or another. If they'd stop working, that would be a show-stopper for me. What do you think, any chances I can keep my URLs? I wouldn't mind an additional (shorter!) URL-scheme, like described in an earlier mail. But I need backwards-compatibility... thanks + keep up the good work, Rene! |
