[Phpwebsite-developers] dynamic Icons in Control Panel?

Hi! I'd like to share a quick thought I'm having for quite some time. How
about having 'dynamic icons' in the controlpanel? Some examples:
 
- the clock module icon could represent the current time (drawn with gd that
shouldn't be too hard)
- the approval-icon could be green, when there's something to approve. black
otherwise.
- the notes icon could have the number of new notes superimposed on it
 
etc.
