[Phpwebsite-developers] new update and install

I have installed the phpwebsite
 
I have gone through the config and set all that part up right, or as far as
I can see.  when I am done i am clicking on the link to go to "my site" and
it just goes to a blank page.  no default or anything.
 
If I go to ./admin it hangs. 
 
I am not getting any error messages or anything.  this is brand new server
install red hat 9.  with all the update in.
 
any thoughts as to where I should start on this
