[Phpwebsite-developers] E-mail validation

I did a bit of searching and couldn't find anything about it, but are there
any plans for some sort of email validation when users sign up? I get at
least one bounced registration email each day from people who either don't
know their own email or can't type very well. I think it would be helpful if
there was a setting where you can specify to have accounts deleted that have
not been validated after x days.
