[Phpwebsite-developers] PHP-website and online petitions

I have been asked to help a charitable organization put up a simple but
dignified online petition. A site they liked was using geeklog. I'm
wondering if anyone has done this with phpwebsite or not and how it
worked out. The idea is, is to have the signer be sent an email
confirming the request- like opting into a listserve. and then placing
their name on the list.

I would like to use phpwebsite because of the other available options in
it. If anyone has any input, I'd appreciate it.
