[Phpwebsite-developers] Paging with a dynamic filter

I've run into a problem with paging that I can't find a solution to yet.
Basically a bug was brought to my attention in phpwsBB where the paging
was broken when viewing the threads within a forum.  The main problem
(after correcting a bad var reference) was that I didn't have a way of
passing the designated forum ID to the paging system, so once I began
paging after the first page, I would have no idea which forum I was
viewing the threads for.

Any list masters know how to add an extra var on the paging URL?
