-------- Original Message -------- Subject: [Phpws-developers] Feature Freeze! From: "Adam Morton" <ad...@tu...> Date: Tue, January 28, 2003 10:29 am To: <php...@tu...> Steven, Brian and I talked and the call is going out for a feature freeze! This means NO NEW FEATURES until after the v0.9.0 stable release! Steven and I feel that the feature freeze need only apply to the core and core modules. If you begin to add new features to a non-core mod and it's not ready when the core release date comes around, your module will not be included or an older version of your module will be included instead. Also, we need to release another release candidate, maybe 2, before we can put out the stable release. The release date scheduled for the next release candidate is February 7th, 2003! ** Remember only bug fixes and stabalizing can occur on the core and core modules until the feature freeze is lifted!! The feature freeze will remain in place until AFTER we have a stable release and it appears to really be stable. Thanks!
