Bugs item #579466, was opened at 2002-07-09 22:55 You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=115539&aid=579466&group_id=15539 Category: Usability Group: phpws0.8.x Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Michael Cannon (comprock) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Comments: A Real Clients Feedback Initial Comment: I'm working on a paid customization of phpwebsite for a client up here in Seattle and thought the developers would like to know what the client feedback looks like. Presently at http://test.jflesher.com, soon http://jflesher.com Made it through most of the site and overall, it looks and performs well. Had quite a bit of trouble with Comments and Submitting on articles. Here's what we found: 1. After clicking on Add Comment, the form is confusing because of the hyperlink "Login" in the space for "your Name". If you click the link (not knowing if you should or not), you go back to the article page. Not sure why this is here. I would leave a blank for the person to add their name. 2. Once you enter a comment and submit it, there is a strange page that comes up for a second, then you're back at the article. Not sure why this page flashes in at that time. 3. After scrolling to the bottom of the article, you can see the comments. The navigation/ordering options for comments does not work. Also, comments have a "Score" and all articles are anonymous because of Item #1. 4. If you leave the comment boxes blank but hit "OK" you get a screen that says "need to fill in subject....) but only for a couple seconds and then you are back at the article. Intuitively, I would think that this screen would stay there and then allow me to choose to go back to submitting a comment or use the other navigation available to me. 5. When you go to submit an article or suggest one, the Link of the Moment and Client Quotes are not functioning. Link says, " No Random Link for Today" and Client Quotes says, "Sorry, there are no quotes in the database!" 6. When you go to "Read more..." for an article, the survey is on the right side. Is this right? The survey, I thought, would only show up on the main page. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=115539&aid=579466&group_id=15539 |
