Greetings all,

If you have been reading Sourceforge, there is a message about Alessandro
Pisani and Mike Lansbury making a fork of phpWebSite entitled X-Web.

Before everyone draws spurious conclusions:
1) Yes, we support them
2) No we are not mad =)
3) They say it will be compatible with the current core
4) It is not based on 'fallout'

Do not read anything into this. They are acting on their own and not
because we shunned them from the project. Alessandro is still a developer
for phpWebSite. This is not a 'signal' that anything is happening to
phpWebSite. It will continue as normal, though maybe a tad slower with Alex
dividing his time ;)

Please join me in supporting their ambition.
