Podcaster 1.0.5 released

Podcaster is a module for phpWebSite that provides a complete toolset for publishing multi-media blogs. This release is for phpWebSite 1.4.0 or better*. 

Podcaster 1.0.5 is a minor update from 1.0.4. This version improves the interface for iTunes categories and sets a foundation for future iTunes category changes. After upgrading, you will need to reset the iTunes category in your podcaster channels.

Podcaster has been completely rewritten for the new phpWebSite 1.x core. It is not compatable with older versions of phpWebSite. If you are using phpWebSite 0.10.x or 0.11.x you may download Podcaster 0.7.6. 

Podcaster allows users to publish one or more channels of podcast episodes. Embedded multimedia files for the episodes are handled centrally using the core module File Cabinet. Back-end RSS files are created for each channel, that end users can subscribe to using their favourite news aggregator or iTunes. Other views are provided for your website, such as channel and episode listings, channel and episode detailed views, featured episode block, archives and so on.
