[USERNAME] should be easy -- it's already in memory.
Could phpWSContacts be used as a source of personalization
data? It has static fieldnames, so that shouldn't be a
problem. Instead of instancing the class repeatedly the
data should be pulled directly, though. However to
decrease
memory consumption it'll still have to be done in
batches.
Can a php script spawn a cron job...?

Is the Personalization-Function already implemented?
The Way
I can write: Dear [USERNAME].
Is it possible to add a field for the "personal name" in
Subscribing-Box and in the admin if there are Not-Member
E-Mailadresses added to the subscriber-list.
So that I can mail: Dear [PERSONAL_USERNAME]

You can now import data from other modules in the upcoming
0.5.0 version. Your other feature requests are still
on the
drawing board.

I'll have to tackle your requests one at a time. ;-)
I'm releasing 0.3.0 RC1 later today. It has support
for HTML
messages.
I'll continue working on your other suggestions for future
versions. Thanks for you input!
