Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Wont Fix Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Thomas de Jesus (trf000) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Nag feature Initial Comment: Would it be possible for Article manager to nag the creator of an article that it is about to expire? Say by sending an e-mail? This kind of functionality would greatly enhance a very good module. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Eloi George (adarkling) Date: 2007-07-03 17:59 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=619893 Originator: NO This would require the use of Cron Jobs -- running a script at predetermined times. I wouldn't include something like that in a module because then I'd have to teach people how to use it, which as any Hosting Provider will tell you, is a nightmare. Article Manager 4.0 (due by July 11th) will allow you to filter your article lists by expiration date ranges. I hope that will satisfy your needs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=681146&aid=1193819&group_id=81360 |
