I am sure this would be a good time for several reasons.

1.) There are still parts of the Moin -> MediaWiki conversion that have 
not been completed.  This lies more in reformatting the text that was 
dumped over to Media.

2.) The Moin -> MediaWiki conversion was allot of work.  One of the 
three people involved in that conversion is no longer contributing to 
the wiki.  That person may have felt he did his part and is done. 
That's ok.  That's how Open Source works.  I anticipate the same amount 
of work for MediaWiki -> phpWebsite Wiki.  The nice thing with the last 
conversion is that there were sample sites around that could be viewed. 
  Perhaps the documentation should be completed before we attempt the 
conversion. Please see

3.) I am not sure how to get other people to contribute.  How do we 
build the wiki community?  There are almost 60 users now. However, 
looking at

shows that very few are contributing.  I am afraid that changing the 
horse again won't help build the community.  Everyone would have to sign 
up all over again.  I am thinking that might be a barrier to retraining 
the community that exists now.

4.) A wiki is a wiki is a wiki.  However, I like the dog food I am 
eating right now.  I've had to slow down on my contributions to the 
current wiki.  I am afraid that changing brands will slow down what I 
can contribute.  I agree that eating our very own brand of dog food is 
important but I know I won't have time to help make the switch.  So that 
would leave Mike as the only person making the wiki switch and eating 
our brand of dog food.  Again the question comes to my mind, "How do we 
build the community?  How do we encourage people to contribute a small 
change here or there each day?  It appears to me that an established 
wiki lends to small contributes by many people.

5.) I think it would be more helpful for the community to work on 
creating a way of formatting both the third party modules

and third party themes

than making the switch to another wiki.  There are some other areas of 
the current wiki that need attention by more seasoned admins.
