Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Accepted Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Tommy de Jesus (trf0000) >Assigned to: Eloi George (adarkling) Summary: E-mail notification in send for Approval Initial Comment: Rene Kiesler had hacked AM 3.0 for me to send an e-mail upon edit/creation of an article. I'd like to see that as a feature tied to the send for approval button in AM 4.x ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Eloi George (adarkling) Date: 2008-11-23 02:29 Message: As you may have seen on IRC, Stardog will be working on a new feature that will enable this to be done through the Notes module. Until then, I added a function in index_admin.php called "log_event" that will log this stuff in /logs/event.php. If you want to also have it sent by email, then you could paste the mailing code here. Don't forget to turn on "Log all changes to articles at /logs/event.log" in the AM settings menu! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Eloi George (adarkling) Date: 2008-11-18 00:00 Message: Hey Tommy, I'm going to need a copy of the files in the /inc directory to see what Rene did. Or you can just tell me what happens -- who gets the email, is it the site owner, or someone specified in AM settings? Also, what is the email text that gets sent? Y'know, as I'm thinking about it, this may be better as a feature in the core Security class, so that all events sent to it get emailed out... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Tommy de Jesus (trf0000) Date: 2008-08-04 12:49 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=886845 Originator: YES File Added: ArticleManager.php ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=681146&aid=2037765&group_id=81360 |
