Category: RFE Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Rejected Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Greg Meiste (blindman1344) Assigned to: Greg Meiste (blindman1344) Summary: Make mailing groups hierarchical like fatcat Initial Comment: A partial solution to minimize duplicate emails sent to people in multiple groups lies with RFE 1071455 raised against phpWebSite (fatcat). This RFE needs to be considered along with RFE 1071413 raised against mailing lists. If the groups are hierarchical, then mail can be sent to various groups and sub-groups as required. As long as the sub-groups are considered the same as the groups that enclose them, an OOA/OOP is-a relationship, then it will be easier for a user to select groups to send email to. Feel free to close-duplicate this RFE against 1071413 if you feel they are sufficiently coupled. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Greg Meiste (blindman1344) Date: 2008-08-22 21:11 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=780595 Originator: YES I no longer remember what this is about. In addition, it talks about fatcat, which is from the now unsupported 0.10.x series. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=765094&aid=1274770&group_id=81360 |
