Looking at the schema, does `group_id` refer to a forum category? If so, I would prefer to leave it out for the first version and add it later. If not, what does `group_id` refer to?

the group table defines categories for forums, the group_id says which category...
feel free to leave it out... (but if you do, make sure to remove it from the reference file to prevent confusion later)
