Ok, thanks zone. It's finally saving users and creating the directories like it's supposed to! However, there is still one problem left, files don't upload. Any idea on what is going on here? I did chown -R nobody:nobody on the public_html directory. Do I have to enable ftp upload in phpwebhosting or anything like that? Any ideas? Thanks once again.

I took the liberty of using your page. It wasn't too hard to guess the path, and I've used your web-based Napster search a few times (Thanks!). I signed up for an account (zone) and uploaded a file, and it worked fine. I can only speculate that it is a problem with your browser. If its your broswer, you also shouldn't be able to upload files to the demo (http://phpwebhosting.sourceforge.net/phpwebhosting/public_html). Also, try deleting and re-creating your account, in case an error occured before you fixed the installation.
