Version 3 includes some drastic changes to a CSS based look and feel. It also includes multi-branch simultaneous expansion, an image file type for automatic display in the view window, and various other small enhancements and bug fixes.
CHANGELOG:
This release does not require the register_globals setting to be true. phpTree now pulls the necessary information from the $HTTP_POST and GET arrays. Additionally, this release allows you to specify a user name in the index.phtml file so as to be able to create structure under a different user and enforce security without having to use server based http authentication.
phpTree version 2.2 has been released. This release includes a customizable icon feature. It also includes 16 standard icons for various file types including MS Office files, mp3s, images, text files, html documents, and more.
This feature significantly improves the phpTree look.
Version 2.1 changes the method for storing binary data entirely. Instead of storing this data in files in the web server's file system, they are stored directly to the database.
Additionally, v. 2.1 fixes and improves upon the tree layout.
Release 2.0 includes some advanced features including the ability to maintain downloadable (binary or text) files. This feature makes phpTree much more like a web based file management system.
The latest version of phpTree includes file upload capabilities. With this, users now have the choice of either manually entering text or selecting a file when creating a new item. This release also allows for automatic html line-breaks and pre formatting.
phpTree v. 1.1 includes some significant layout improvements. This release fixed the spacing problem between tree elements. In version 1.0 there was a 1 or 2 pixel space between each element. This release also added continuation lines in front of tree elements when the tree is expanded.
The phpTree website is now fully functional. Visit the website to learn more about phpTree, read documentation, or to try a system demo. The website is located at http://phptree.sourceforge.net
Version 1.0 of phpTree has been released. This is the first release of phpTree. However, this system has been in use for over 2 years and the release should be very stable.<P>
