    I am running phpsysinfo on an Amahi server setup. phpsysinfo is set up as a virtual host "phpsysinfo.lan" on a box called "hda.lan".
    If I set to use virtual host name, phpsysinfo shows "System Information: phpsysinfo.lan ()" with no IP. If I set up to not use virtual host name it shows as "System Information: localhost (192.168.0.10)".

    1) Should I see an IP address for virtual host?
    2) Is there any way to force phpsysinfo to show actual hostname as shown  when using "hostname" command i.e. hda.lan

    Hello,

    1) Should I see an IP address for virtual host?

    if PSI_USE_VHOST is true, phpsysinfo wil request IP by doing a DNS request. Your DNS server didn't reply for phpsysinfo.lan. I think you can add it in /etc/hosts file

    2) Is there any way to force phpsysinfo to show actual hostname as shown when using "hostname" command i.e. hda.lan

    Normaly PhpSysInfo read the hostname by doing :

    cat /proc/sys/kernel/hostname

    What return this function for you?

    phpsysinfo\includes\os\class.Linux.inc.php
    line 41 function _hostname()
    line 60 function _ip()

    1) Adding details to "hosts" file made no difference.

    2) "cat /proc/sys/kernel/hostname" results in;
    # cat /proc/sys/kernel/hostname
    hda.lan
