#2 freezes after attempt to add new db

Hi,

I'm very new to this, but I ran into an error when
attempting to add a new database alias. admin threw an
nice error

"Impossible to open or create database C:/Program Files
etc etc"

But now, when I go back to the index.php that's all I
get. Restarting apache, and re-copying over the
original install has no effect.

Hi,
did you solve this problem then? I ask, because I have the
same problem at the moment. I uninstalled and reinstalled
the package of XAMPP, but it failed again, even when I
installed it into a different directory.
