Bots pings out - any chance to restart it ?

hi,

i'm running the bot, and it really owns, but sometimes he pings out.
[20:15] * mybot (my@bot.org) Quit (Ping timeout: 1720 seconds)

...contrab wont help me, cuz the process isnt killed, so i cant check it this way....

any idea how i could scan it, and restart it, if it pings out ?
