I am officially declaring PHPSlice dead. I do not intend to continue development on it, and all the other developers seem to have moved on. I will make an effort to continue to answer support questions, but I make no promises.

Dear phpslicers.

i recently decided to drop further phpslice develpement. the reasons
vary from lack of time to the lack of develpers. my current job is
about programming java from early morning into evening, and i rarely
have time and motivation to keep coding on weekends.

the situation could change if phpslice would get some serious
developers, but right now it was and is a one-man job. i cant handle
it nomore due personal reasons.... read more

finally :) i hope you enjoy this release. i did my best to provide you the hopefully most bugfree phpslice version ever.

for your pleasure. includes a lot of bugfixes, plus a new postgres db-setup sql dump instead of the shitty shell script. see README.PGSQL for mor details.

mysql and mssql support is still present, but you will have to alter tables manually. please look into the mysql sql dump.

Major improvements in this release: 40% speed increase due to query optimizations; PostgreSQL bugs fixed; lots of other minor things. Enjoy.
