phpslash 0.6-rc2 (Queso): This is phpslash-Queso, an rc-2 relase of the newly rewritten phpslash. This release marks the first fully public release of the new re-written code base. This release is a public beta in order to find any last bugs in the code. All users are encouraged to try Queso and to get familiar with the templates. Fajita (0.6-FINAL) will be availible soon, but this will give users extra time to adjust templates to their liking. The code features a whole lot of cleanups over the previous 0.5x code: - It's Object Orientated (alomst every function has been rewitten or updated) - Presentation is based on HTML templates (No presentation in the code!) - Has an RSS / RDF Import and display framework - The database schema has been reworked from the ground up Changes since rc-1 (Release Without A Name): - Updated database file. The last one had those varchar's insted of int's for a lot of id fields. - Cookie stuff is working. - Block code improvements. - '%%' is the dynamic title for blocks. To get today's date in the calendar you can set the title to be 'Today is %%' and the block will render as 'Today is October 7'. - A LOT of improvements to adding/updating Comments. - No more Slash.class. - Improved templates (less database variables == more artistic freedom) - You can delete Stories now.
