Hi After using the 0.6 code for a while now I can only agree with Mike,=20= Excellent Stuff!! Thank you. I have some feedback/questions: RSS: I can get the Netscape validator to accept the backend.php3 file only if= I=20 "utf8_encode" the TITLE and INTRO_TEXT fields. Maybe because of the Germ= an=20 characters? The problem is that the RSS parsers I have tested does not=20= "utf8_decode" the <item> contents. What is the "right" way to encode RSS 0.91? RSS block: RSS blocks (and only RSS blocks) cause a PHP error after the Block is=20= displayed. The display of the page is broken off somewhere below the RSS= =20 block. I have mentioned this before but I thought it was a PHP3 problem.= =20 I have this problem with the following configuration: php4.0.4pl1 CGI apache 1.3.14 (unix) XML-support - active Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions? Mailing list: Is my logic correct here? To send out a newsletter according to the subscribers' frequency=20 preferences the options should be: override date =96 yes override frequency - no With this combination an email is sent to my first subscriber only. With override "frequency - yes", it is sent to ALL subscribers=20 successfully. Have I messed up the code or is it a bug, or something else? Since the templates return HTML I end up HTML-special-characters in my=20= emails. I have to "decode" the HTML after the templates are parsed. This solves the problem for me: function html_decode($str){ $trans =3D get_html_translation_table (HTML_ENTITIES); $trans =3D array_flip ($trans); $str =3D strtr ($str, $trans); return $str; }=20 Greeting Bart --=20 Bart Pieterse, E-Mail: ba...@up...
