#137 Where is God!?

Doing a fresh installation on a new box for
developing/testing phpSlash 0.65b1 translation files
for locale (es - spanish), I found that God account is
not created when using the slash-all.sql script !!

And I thought I was loosing my religion!

Another interesting bug is the lack of keyword "User"
=> "User", in the en.php3 (master template :-) )... I
fixed that.

Rember that the use of God to login for the first time
is documented in the docs/html files ... without God it
can be difficult to login for the first time (for new

Joe S. should know more about these topics... Let him
answer this.

This attachment includes the same files Joe already has
(I submitted them via email). However, I didn't fix the
slash-all.sql script :-)

    Did you try the username 'god' in lowercase? The usernames
    are now case-sensitive and the initial story for new
    installs is wrong. It also tells you to create an account
    with seclev.

    The slash-all.sql script still adds the 'god' account:

    INSERT INTO psl_author (author_id, author_name,
    author_realname, url, email, quo
    te, password, seclev, perms) VALUES ( '1', 'god', '',
    'http://www.god.com', 'god
    @heaven.org', 'God doesn't need a 'quote'!',

    If you can login with 'god' let us know.

    The story will be corrected anyway. And thanks for the
    Spanish translation.

    Also 'password' needs to be lower case.

    Looks like Luis has traced this down to Mozilla on Mac OS X
    problem so far.

    Problem has been corrected. Spanish translation accepted
    into cvs. Username references checked for case.
