[Phpsitemadeeasy-devel] User/password security

OK, now that my focus is going to be on the administration end of the project.. I thought that I should ask anyone if they've had experience with user/password protection of the site.

I want to refrain from using 'cookies' if at all possible. Anyone have any insight on how to do some good user level checking that we could implement across all our pages?

..perhaps I should seek someone who is good with this to help the project if none of us know this aspect very well. I for one..am not too familiar with this..
