    Hi,
The following are the installation procedure and some problems that we have suffered when trying to install this tool
1.Download the Metabase (http://koivi.users.phpclasses.org/metabase) database abstraction layer.  → ok
Download the XML Parser (http://koivi.users.phpclasses.org/xmlparser and put it in the metabase directory  → ok
2.Uncompress the PSA and Metabase packages into the directories on your server where you would like to access them from.
    → Unzip to C:\AppServ\www\metabase
    → Unzip to C:\AppServ\www\phpsecurityadmin
3.Edit the config.php file found in the include directory according to the comments found there.*
    → ok
4.Edit the database name in psa.schema.xml if necessary
    → no revision
5.Run the install_db.php script to initiate your database tables→ http://localhost/phpsecurityadmin/install_db.php  (Success!  Checked, this installation has been added to the data base.)
6.http://localhost/phpsecurityadmin/  the screen runs as the below:
    [localhost/phpsecurityadmin][

◎The above are some questions that I have suffered when installing this software, but there are still some questions below.
1.Will the http://localhost/phpsecurityadmin/ come out on the management once the installation finished.?
2.I installed the Appserv 1.9 and then went on with the Phpsecurityadmin.  Is that ok?
3.Does the set-up need to be revised?

    Regards ,
    Tracy,

      > 1.Will the http://localhost/phpsecurityadmin/ come out on the management once the installation finished.?

How do you mean "come out on the management"? phpSecurityAdmin is a user management class for your web site. To manage the users, you would have to use the GUI or program the package into specific modules that youwant to use. IOW: http://localhost/phpsecurityadmin/ is where you'd go to manage your users and such.

      > 2.I installed the Appserv 1.9 and then went on with the Phpsecurityadmin. Is that ok?

I have never heard of Appserv before.

      > 3.Does the set-up need to be revised?

PSA is a separate application for your website.  AFAIK there aren't any direct conflicts with other applications or projects.

Thanks for your reply.  We have solved the problem caused in the installation and completed the installation successfully.
However, we are now encountering another new problem:
I was trying to login into the system on the login page via username:admin    pwd: secure, but the system rejected.  And the web page runs the message, "The user admin does not exist on the system".
Please kindly advise how to solve this problem.
Thanks for your attention and assistance in this matter.

      tracy,

That sounds like the database isn't set up properly or the connection parameters to the database are incorrect.
