#1 All pages stall

I just installed it and opened the index.php3 page in
a browser... it asks for a username and password...
admin and nothing... then it just says opening
page.... forever!! I waited like 3 hours for it to
open... and nothing... it won't time out... it won't
error out... just nothing.

Any ideas?

I had to manually edit the database changing the admin
password.

I had the same problem. I'm not sure on what was causing
this, but it appears a few other people have complained about
the same problem.

I followed the basic setup as layed out in the docs/RH6.1-
Install.Howto file, and I still got problems.

But I seemed to have done something right and it works now.

Here is what I did, and at some point it made it work:

-Edit the .htaccess/.htpasswd file in phpSched/apacheauth/
-copied those files into the phpSched root
-created a new sql user w/ permissions to the sched db
-mirrored that user and it's settings into the config.inc.php3 file
-added directory permissions to allow authconfig in httpd.conf

I think the .htaccess and .htpasswd in the apacheauth/ dir is
the problem, because those were the only major things I
changed between having it work and not work.
