Just trying to be funny...I'm referring to
www.claroline.net

Claroline has a full blown elearning platform but the
test aspect is pretty thin on bells and whistles.

Claroline installs pretty well with easyphp (had it up
and running in about 5 minutes)

I say all of this hoping that you might take a minute to
ck out the claroline demo ;)

Thanks for getting back to me. I've dropped messages to the
other PHP quiz making folks but no response as yet...

Are you familiar with PostNuke? I've looked at the plugin
architecture and I think/believe it might be easier to
implement a quiz environment under PN than claroline. And
PN has thousands of installed users with lots of support from
developers and users.
Just a thought. Claroline is very cool but PN seems easier to
go...
